Protecting Riau’s Forests,
Empowering Its Communities

Community participatory mapping activity in Riau

Local Knowledge. Stronger Communities. Resilient Forests.

Hutanriau Foundation works with forest-dependent communities to strengthen local stewardship, support sustainable livelihoods, and protect the ecosystems that sustain life across Riau.

We combine participatory research, community mapping, capacity building, and practical conservation action to create solutions rooted in local knowledge.
