People receive clear information, have space to deliberate, and participate meaningfully in decisions that affect their territories and livelihoods.
Local knowledge and rights
We recognise customary knowledge, community institutions, tenure realities, and the rights of Indigenous peoples and local communities.
Evidence-based action
Participatory mapping, GIS, field observation, documentation, and research strengthen planning and decision-making.
Environmental and social safeguards
Risks are identified early, participation is inclusive, and practical grievance pathways are integrated where appropriate to project scope.
Monitoring, evaluation, and learning
We track outputs and outcomes, test assumptions, document challenges, and use learning to improve delivery.
Partner accountability
Clear roles, due diligence, transparent communication, realistic commitments, and documented evidence underpin our partnerships.
